College Scholarships

The 2024 Application is available below.

The Deadline to submit your application and be considered for one of the BASC Scholarships is April 7, 2024.

BASC annually awards up to three $500 undergraduate college or trade school tuition scholarships to current or former players, coaches, and referee. The awards are open to both men and women and are paid directly to the recipient. The awards are funded from the BASC general fund.

Evaluation and approval will be made by the BASC Executive Board based primarily on academic achievement, soccer participation, and good citizenship. All scholarship recipients must provide proof of enrollment before funds will be disbursed. If at any time it is determined information provided on the scholarship application is inaccurate, the Executive Board reserves the right to reconsider the award.

The Student must meet the following criteria to be considered.

Be a graduating high school senior in 2024.

The applicant must have been registered and participated for a minimum of three (3) years (six seasons) in the BASC recreational and/or competitive leagues as a player, coach or referee.

The applicant must submit a certified copy of their high school transcript.

Applicant must enroll a minimum of 12 hours in the first college semester or enter a trade school full time following the award.

Items needed before you fill out and submit the scholarship application:

Age Group, Season, Year, Coach and Team name for each season played at BASC.

Certified copy of applicants transcript in PDF format.

Any additional documents substantiating the applicants qualifications in PDF format.

Applicants will be notified of the scholarship decision via email by the end of May.
